You know when your having an off day/week when you are attempting to cook an easy dinner of soup and sandwiches and it goes wrong.I was heating up chicken noodle soup in the microwave (Love won't let me cook it on the stove) and I was attempting to make grilled ham and cheese sandwiches in our sandwich maker.
I was wondering why the cheese was pouring out the side but chalked it up to the cheddar cheese melting. When I took the sandwiches out of the machine I realized it had little squares on it...I thought it was cute and cut them up and served them to my kids. It was that minute that I reached for the sandwich machine to clean it up that I realized I just made my kids waffle sandwiches...yep it was the waffle machine not my sandwich maker.
I made myself a drink after that!
