I think we have all said this a time or two but I need more time today. We are having a little impromptu get together tonight.
Tomorrow Love turns 4 years old...she is my Valentine Baby. Valentines Day has special meaning for us; not because of the day as Hubby doesn't recoginize it and believes we should show our love and appreciation everyday of the year not just on this day. Hubby proposed to me in our local paper 10 years ago on Valentines Day. His greeting read:
"I thank God for our gift and for bringing you into my life. I only have one question to ask will you be my wife?"
I was 8.5 months pregnant when he proposed and we had no idea that Zman would be born 2 days later February 16th (by emergency c-section). It amazes me how much we have been through in 10 years. We have had lots of ups and downs but I can't imagine being with anybody else. Even at times when he gets so upset with me or vice versa he is my best friend we are so much in love that it's what gets us through the hard times and makes us so thankful for the good times.
So tomorrow we are having a birthday party for Love and Zman. I think this will be the last year for a joint party. We really did it this way because of costs associated with throwing two separate parties. Zman has been so generous in having a low key party this year. He said to me the other day "mom we don't have to have a big party; afterall you did throw me a surprise party last year". Isn't he sweet?
Funny thing is myself and my brother have a birthday 2 days apart. (ironic isn't it?)
So I have a lot of running around to do for tonight and tomorrow and still figure out time to squeeze my work out in. I have been busting my butt at the gym these last couple weeks working out sometimes 6 days a week.
I have a little surprise for hubby tomorrow; we are staying in and cooking dinner...well he is doing the cooking you all know how well I do in the kitchen...if you don't read my post below.
Have a great weekend; Happy Valentines Day...and remember make every single day special for the one you love...just so they know you were thinking of them!
