Happy Birthday Love and Zman

Daddy and Love

Love "cheese"

She is sooo excited about opening presents!

Her cake

Her aunt, grandma and Melanie

Hubby and I trying to help Love take the pic.

All her loot.

I love how she smiles here.

Getting ready to blow out the candles.

She was kissing me and then the camera didn't go off so this is her next pose. Love her smile.

We told her to make a wish and she closed her eyes so tight and put her hands together as if she was praying...I love this photo!

"Yay I did it Daddy"

Our Rockstar and his band!

The book he wanted. (Very interesting I might add)

I bought these sparkler candles and he got a little scared when they were sparking; hubby got hit with the spark and said it hurt a lil...what was I thinking!

Opening his loot!

One of his Club Penguin plushes he wanted.

Another one

Opening more presents.

He got a radio control plane

They both had a great time. After the party they went to their Aunt's house with their cousins for a sleepover and Hubby and I had the house to ourselves. I will do a post about our Valentines Day next. We were exhausted that night as we had an impromtu party Friday night that went until 2am (pictures to follow) and then we had the kids party at noon on Saturday. Needless to say we were passed out tired at 11pm on Valentines Day but hubby did make me a 3 course dinner...Yummy!

I Need More Time

I think we have all said this a time or two but I need more time today. We are having a little impromptu get together tonight.

Tomorrow Love turns 4 years old...she is my Valentine Baby. Valentines Day has special meaning for us; not because of the day as Hubby doesn't recoginize it and believes we should show our love and appreciation everyday of the year not just on this day. Hubby proposed to me in our local paper 10 years ago on Valentines Day. His greeting read:

"I thank God for our gift and for bringing you into my life. I only have one question to ask will you be my wife?"

I was 8.5 months pregnant when he proposed and we had no idea that Zman would be born 2 days later February 16th (by emergency c-section). It amazes me how much we have been through in 10 years. We have had lots of ups and downs but I can't imagine being with anybody else. Even at times when he gets so upset with me or vice versa he is my best friend we are so much in love that it's what gets us through the hard times and makes us so thankful for the good times.

So tomorrow we are having a birthday party for Love and Zman. I think this will be the last year for a joint party. We really did it this way because of costs associated with throwing two separate parties. Zman has been so generous in having a low key party this year. He said to me the other day "mom we don't have to have a big party; afterall you did throw me a surprise party last year". Isn't he sweet?

Funny thing is myself and my brother have a birthday 2 days apart. (ironic isn't it?)

So I have a lot of running around to do for tonight and tomorrow and still figure out time to squeeze my work out in. I have been busting my butt at the gym these last couple weeks working out sometimes 6 days a week.

I have a little surprise for hubby tomorrow; we are staying in and cooking dinner...well he is doing the cooking you all know how well I do in the kitchen...if you don't read my post below.

Have a great weekend; Happy Valentines Day...and remember make every single day special for the one you love...just so they know you were thinking of them!
