To Cut My Hair Short or Not to Cut My Hair Short...that is the question?

I definately need a hair makeover!!! So I have decided to go short...or have I?

I always struggle with this...I always want to have long locks but get impatient and can't wait for it to grow. Right now I just feel my hair just hangs there...you know; maybe a short cut to focus more on my face and green eyes!!! What do you think?

And I love this color; I am a natural blond anyway. I am more of a "dirty blonde" color naturally and always go lighter...but I love this color on Reese Witherspoon. It's just so fresh and vibrant!

A few years ago I went a little darker and did some red highlights too; it was kind of funky and I loved it but I am a blond at heart.

So...what do you think, go short or stick it out and go long? What about the color...do you like it? If not do you have any other suggestions?

Oh you know me... I just chopped mine off and I LOVE it! It's a fresh look. And you're right... the short cut is really in right now.

I swear, everytime you post something, it's like I've written it! I'm naturally dirty blonde but always go really light. A couple years back I decided to go brunette and Joey flipped out!!! He LOVES blondes :) lol.

I say try the fresh new look. It'll be fun! You could try some chunky low-lights for the winter, too (like me - lol)

CUT IT!

Man, I do the same thing every year. I cut it short when the hot weather hits, hate it, and let it grow out for cooler weather. Then when summer gets here, I get tired of my long locks and chop it off.

And that's how the cycle goes EVERY year...

I like the style. I say go for it! And take pictures so we can see!

I think if you are going to go short, now is the time. That way if you grow it out, it will be long enough for a ponytail by summer...

I struggle with it too!!!! I love short hair and while I think it looks okay on me, my long hair is so much easier!!! Remember, short hair you constantly have to style ...although it would look cute on you!

Just came across your blog and it sounds like we might be "sistas from anotha mista" if you get me lol...so cute layout.

And BTW - DEFINETLY cut your hair. I have had longerish hair my whole life, and I have kept it a-la-Reese all this year and ADORE it. Do it! Do it!

I like the longer hair you have now but I also think the shorter cut would be adorable!! I love the color ~ I used to dye blonde but I'm trying to stay natural for a while.

Here's a thought ~ new diet, quit smoking ~ definitely a new hair do!!! (I would cut mine with you but I hate how I look with short hair)

I ALWAYS had long hair until a few years ago when I was challenged to cut it off. I did it and I LOVED it. I felt so sassy. Here is my view, it will always grow back. And this particular style looks fairly easy to maintain AND would look really cute on you! Do it girl!! You will feel like a new woman.

If you want to keep it long you could always change it up...bangs perhaps? I love short hair...I had mine in an A-line, and I'm thinking once I get some scrilla I'm going to cut it again...it was sooooooooooo much easier to deal with! I say go for it...can't wait to see what you end up doing :)

Do it!! Now is the time. Short hair is in and I am loving this cut Reese is wearing. You 2 have the same face shape, so you could definitely pull it off. Post pictures if you do decide to cut it! :)

Go for it, girl!! You'd look adorable with short or long hair!! Go for a new style... I may follow your lead. :) I'm always having hair issues... the story of my life.

Let it grooooooooow! It's gotta hit that awkward stage before it becomes those wonderful long locks...besides I like your hair how it is now!! My hair has NEVER been past my shoulders, no matter how hard I try. It just stops growing. Have a great weekend!!

I recently chopped my long hair off, and while the cut is cute, I want my long hair back! But, that said, the great thing about hair is that it'll grow back! So, if you're antsy, do it! Because you'll think about it until you do :-)

You look great in your profile photo... that looks like a good length on you... not short and not long... but if you insist on a new look... Reese's hair cut would look good!

Hey Girl!
If you want a cute cut like that, go for it!
I've had really long hair and I've had really short hair. I tend to let it grow and then cut it all back off. It's been on the shorter side for the past 2 years. Right now it's a bob a little longer than chin length. I like it but I find that longer hair is easier to deal with. For instance, you can just put it up in a clip or pony tail in an instant and be done with it. Right now, I have to blow dry my hair and then run the flat iron through it or else it I will look like an orphan child cuz I have combo hair, some straight, some curly. It was a pretty decent length about 4 months ago then I got a wild hair (heehee) and decided to cut it again, now I wish I hadn't. The good thing for me is that my hair grows pretty fast so it won't take long till I have a nice long pony tail again, right now I just have a Steven Segal pony tail.

OH.MY.GOODNESS!!!

You have GOT to be kidding me?!?! See girl, that's why I think I just luv you so much. You are me, and I am you, lol. Except I am sooooooo not blonde, lol.. But I've been thinking THE.VERY.SAME.THING!!! I've ALWAYS had long hair, and right now I have front layers. And i've really been thinking about chopping it off about the size of where my layers fall... Only my husband would flip, but who cares, it's MY hair! So again, OMG>>> '
You have got to let me know what you do!!!
=0D

(I'm thinking just go for it! I will if you will!)

I had this same dilemma just after my wedding. I went for it and got the Raihnna haircut. I love it when its styled - but its annoying not to be able to do a decent ponytail...and to have to shower every morning when I prefer to shower before bed and sleep in in the mornings. But I totally love the look. this is why I always go back and forth from long to short hair.
