If I could take tomorrow off work I'd

tell my husband to take off to so we can spend some quality time together...like stay in bed all day and just cuddle...or you know what (shhhhh). You see I love attention and most of all I love attention from my hubby. (A lot of it) It just seems he has been so busy lately...or he has a lot on his mind.

We used to go out to happy hour once a week and go out dancing or something at least twice a month...but lately we haven't been. My mom normally babysits but lately she has a social calendar so we really need to find a babysitter other than her...but that gets expensive...10 bucks an hour plus the money you spend going out.

I mentioned this to him yesterday and he said he used to look forward to going out (I was the one who wanted to stay in) dancing but lately it hasn't been on his mind.

It's his friends fault! He loves him more than me!!! (JK)
He recently found his best friend from the military a few months ago and you know what...he is consuming my husbands time. (I don't mind really I am very glad they are close again but it best not interupt my alone time). They talk several times throughout the day; they are working on a screen play together so they are constantly talking and here is Rachel waiting in the wings. I love that they have reconnected and I am flying his friend in for my hubby's 40th birthday next month; it was supposed to be a surprise but I blew it...I know I know I told you I like to talk and it just came out.

But I miss us going out; being alone, him groping me, dancing, having cocktails...we are crazy like that.

HELLO...I'm your sexy wife remember????

But I did just get a text from him...

"hey baby you want thighs in cream sauce tonight?"

Ok-is he talking about sex or dinner? I do love this chicken dish he cooks with wine, cream, mushrooms, peas etc...and he must be asking because he wants to take the chicken out before he leaves for work...so I reply:

"Yum My thighs"

and he wrote back "Mmmm"

I love my hubby, my best friend, my honey bunches of oats...I'm just overeacting because it's not all about me...but I'll be patient...it's going to be hard...but I'll be ok.

Thanks MamaKat

LOL!!! Girl, you had me cracking up!!!
And you're so sweet, flying his friend in for his bday (even though he's stealing the spotlight from YOU). But he better not stay long, or he'll be getting bitchslapped, tehe!

I'll help you take him down, oh wait, he was in the military... yikes!
Well then, I'm sure you're waaaaaaaaay sexier than he is! ;D

Solei not only was he in the military but he also was a former bounty hunter yikes...we are gonna need back up to take him down!!!

Steph-Johnny doesn't eat Honey Bunches of Oats...I just have always loved it and it fit perfectly...plus that lady who worked in the factory on the commericals always said "honey bunche of oats" I call him baby, sexy thang, honey bunchs of oats...and my lover boy...but yes we were separated at birth...and you got the better body :)

Aww you really love your HOney Bunches of Oats. It's so nice to hear people talk about their other half.

I'm in the same boat as you: My hubby and I used to go out and do all sorts of fun stuff together, but lately we're staying in. My hubby is 8 years older than me, so he wants to relax and avoid loud crowd these days where I still crave for the party scene..

It's important to have one-on-one time together. I strongly believe that.

awwe! it sounds like you two have a really great relationship and great communication. I think that's most important ...other than a great sex life :) He'll come back around.

*sadly, we only have RB on the Xbox. damnit! I wanna ROCK!

that is cute that you text - my hubbie would be so aggravated with me if I did that interrupting his day! AND HE COOKS???? No fair! I'm with you on the babysitter thing - what is the point - $200 to just go and have some quiet time and not have to inhale food!

You two might not make it out of bed for anything....not even dancing!! I do love going out dancing and having fun without the kids...but "alone time" is nice no matter what you do (some things being "more fun" than others)

Oh my gosh!! That was funny! I guess you don't think so though! I totally understand what you mean! My husband and I don't get much alone time at all. It really sucks! I like attention too and I can be very high maintenance!! Thanks for the comment, I'm gonna try to get back in the swing of the blog thing!!

Awwwwwwwwwww. I hope the chicken is yummy! AND, I hope you can cuddle. My husband really isn't a big cuddler, so I always feel like I have to force cuddling : ). Oh well. I force away!

i can't tell you how many times i've tried to coax my hubby into skipping work so we could stay in bed all day ;) hasn't worked yet...

i LOVE date nights when we can get them. i think we're goin on one tonight! our community always has events goin on during the weekends so its pretty easy to find something to do.

I don't see the comment button on your two newest blogs...I don't get it!!! What is happening!?!? :) That is too funny about Love, but hey...at least she didn't take a not-for-kids book...!! And I am sure that she made a fun story to go along with it and all the kids are totally in love with her. (as if they weren't already!) Have a great weekend!
