I cooked...and it was good...

Yup I cooked dinner tonight...I kinda needed to relieve so stresses if you know what I mean...I would have taken a picture but didn't remember to take a picture until my plate was half gone (Rome wasn't built in a day people) and I cleaned the kitchen too...what is up with that? As you may know I don't cook, hubby does all the cooking and I normally clean the kitchen (unspoken rule); but tonight I did both...ok almost I don't grill because I want to keep my long eye lashes.

Stop drooling...it was not spectacular I just made it up as I went...you want the recipe? And Yes I put LOVE in this dish...

Ingredients
1 pound of penne rigate
1 bag of frozen peas (Birds Eye Steam in the Bag)
1 Onion
1 jar of Bertolli Vodka Sauce
2 Chicken Breast
Salt
Pepper
Italian Seasoning (McCormick Grinder)

Directions
Heat sauce in a pan.
Saute onions while steaming frozen peas in the microwave. Grill chicken breast until done. Throw onions and peas into sauce while pasta boils.
Cut up chicken breast after it's grilled to perfection. Drain pasta and toss with sauce...tada....Rachel's Home Made Chicken Vodka Penne...with the help of above sponsors of course...end result...wow I can cook!

I got broccoli & brown rice tonight. Maybe I should come to your house for dinner tomorrow. :)

BTW...

I've tagged you. You are linked on my blog again and now you have to do the 6 Random Things. Sorry if you've already done it but I had to put my new buddy in.

How did you do today on not smoking? I cheated on the diet and had an extra Diet Dr. Pepper but I needed the caffiene.

One question, when you say you put Love in the dish, is that "Love" as in the emotion, or "Love" as in your daughter?

I mean, you said you don't cook, so I just want to be sure I don't need to send out an APB on sweet little Love. lol

Good for you! This sounds so yummy. My husband cooks so much that I've gotten out of practice, how sad is that?

I hate cooking chicken, I always grab the pre-cooked ones at the deli LOL. So much faster.

One of these days I will learn to expand and enjoy cooking.
Thank you for the recipe. :))
