Wish List

I have mentioned on this blog before that I hoard shoes...yes I do...my belief is a girl can never have too many pairs. My explanation is that people collect things...bears, tea pots (etc etc) so this is what I collect.

My husband has learned to put up with my obsession (among many). He doesn't send me flowers rather he goes to a department store finds a cute pair of shoes that he thinks are "hot" (all about the hottness) and knows I am gonna love em; takes a pic with his camera phone and sends me the pic saying "I hope this brightens your day" and when I get home...the shoes are there!!! Isn't this perfect...flowers die but I keep my shoes a longgggggggggggg time. And whenever someones says "cute shoes" I reply "thanks...my hubby bought them" and then they are all like "awwww does he have a brother".

So yesterday I was searching the web and went on www.Nordstroms.com and found the shoes I have been eyeing but they were never on sale. The blue ones were but I wanted the white and pink ones by Betsey Johnson (I love her funky style but unfortunately I am not a size 2 or 4 or 6 or 8...ok I will stop there...(frig it I am a size 16 and damn proud).

Seriously Betsey Johnson should branch off into the plus size world...in the interim I enjoy her shoes, jewelry and watches...so anyway back to the shoes...I emailed them to my hubby from the website and he replied "those are hot". I replied "uh I know, these are the ones I have been wanting and tried on remember?"...yes he remembered...

So my birthday is next month and hopefully they still have a size 9.5 and he remembers to get these for my birthday...his is before mine and I am throwing him a party (it was supposed to be a surprise but 2 people spilled the beans; I guess they didn't have their glasses on where they opened the invitation and it said 3 times in big, bold, CAPITAL LETTERS...DO NOT TELL HUBBY...I REPEAT DO NOT TELL HUBBY) so he will love me for that and repay the favor (even though he threw me an awesome 30th birthday party last year catered w/bar tender and a HUMMER Limo for all of us to go dancing after the party)...he ROCKS...sorry ladies he is madly in love with me!!!

But I am a little selfish (ok a little bit more than a little) so it's all about me and the SHOES!!!

Love the shoes. They rockin hot. I too am a shoe hoarder. My Hubby thinks I'm in denial but hey if it scores me more shoes that's ok.

Good luck with the contest over at Tiffany's and thanks for the compliments.

ooh, your husband is too sweet! love it! mine is the same, he knows I treasure shoes and handbags more than flowers. :)

loving the wedges! so adorable.

thanks for coming to visit my blog! And no, you guys are fine getting married in Jamaica =) we were just being extra cautious. It was getting a little complicated since I'm a US Citizen but was born in Taiwan and so I didn't want anything to go wrong in Jamaica.

Oh and very cool that you guys got married in Jamaica as well! Where did you get married at?

I saw your comment on Tiffany's blog about being new to blogging and since I am too (just started this week) I thought I'd pop over to say hi. Started reading your blog and you had me at "hoard shoes". :) I hope you get the shoes you want they are supercute (and with a sweet hubby like that, your chances sound good). I'm glad I stopped by, I'll definitely be back!
