Where did the time go...

Wow...I cannot believe how long it's been since I have wrote here...so much has happened and so much has gone on and I think "why haven't you been documenting it?" So here I am.

I am just gonna recap and say we are back living in Florida...South Florida near the beach this time. You see, Colorado livin is alright with some people, but this beach loving, sunshine soakin girl loves to be near water and Colorado is what some say "land locked". It was a great experience; picking up moving Cross Country, kids enjoying "snow days" and then deciding a year later "you know what, let's pick up and move again...because it's fun." So here we are...Zman is now 12 going into the 7th grade with his first "girl friend" and lil Miss Love is heading into 1st grade...where did the time go...

Calgon Take Me Away

I have been stressing these past few weeks hence the lack of posts...please forgive me. I just didn't want to blog about what so many people are facing right now.

I am collecting unemployment for the first time in my entire working career (16 years) and it's going to be rough for a while. On the bright side we did sell our house on a short sale so now we are left with the uncertainty "now where do we live?"

We have been wanting to move to Colorado for a long time now and it seems the best time is now. I am currently not working and Zman will be out of school soon so now may be the best time. I have heard that Colorado is doing a lot better than Florida during these hard economic times and the crime here in Florida has gotten out of hand. It is no longer a great place to raise kids.

I have been applying for jobs in Colorado as well as Florida but really hoping to get a job in Colorado. It's difficult applying in another state as you are most likely looked over for someone who already lives there. If anyone reading this blog knows someone in Colorado looking for a hard working, organized individual...hook a sista up!

In the meantime I am going to keep taking baths to help relax me...(and have a couple of Bacardi and Diet Cokes)now excuse me while I find me some Calgon.
