Love is doing much better. She gave us a little scare yesterday in the early evening; she broke a blood vessel in her eye from straining while throwing up. I called the walk in clinic next door to her doctors office thinking I should bring her in. I know the doctor said it would last 4 days or so but the poor thing hadn't eaten since Saturday; she was drinking fluids but still vomiting. They told me to give her gatorade or pedialyte to replenish her electrolytes and keep an eye on her while taking her temperature every 4 hours. She wasn't running a fever anymore which was good. And then miraculousy at about 9pm; she was her old self...."I feel betta mom"...running around the house like a crazy person...making crazy faces.

She wanted to eat and demanded a hamburger and french fries. I told her that wasn't going to happen; she just threw up a few hours ago and she needed to rest and I would make her toast or a bagel.

Love-And totes...on my tray k.

So I make her a bagel and serve it with some gatorade on her tray. Now mind you when I told her that hubby went to the store to get her gatorade she automatically says "I dunt want medcine". I explain it's like juice and not medicine. So hubby returns with the gatorade and popsicles...why didn't I think of popsicles??? Oh well hubby did and she ate two before I served her bagel.

Needless to say she was on the road to recovery...and thank goodness as she saved me $75 for a walk in clinic visit or a $200 copay emergency room copay. She does love me!!!

This morning she wakes up bright eyed and bushy tailed already demanding I put her show on and she has to lay in my room. I told her that she would watch tv in the spare bedroom and rest until daddy woke up. I was leaving for work and told her "tell daddy to wash these sheets when he gets up since you were sick" "ok" she says.

Later todayI sent hubby and instant message and asked if Love told him to wash the sheets.

Hubby-She told me to switch out the clothes

Me-LOL

Hubby-I was like what? Huh? Who is telling me what?

Me-LMAO

Hubby-She's back...to her old demanding self.

Me-Thank goodness!
