I was in a car accident yesterday. Some lady decided to bend down to pick up something (someone who worked for the fire dept who appeared to be on duty at that...shouldn't she know better???) while going about 45 mph and rammed into me while I was waiting at a light. I am at home now healing through the pain and going through this grueling process of doctor appointments, insurance companies etc etc etc.
I thank God for watching over me as I was able to walk out of the hospital and come home to my family. I am very sore today with some neck pain and my left arm is swollen with some brusing but I won't know the extent of my injuries until my follow up appointment with my doctor.
My spirit is a little saddened and I am really scared to drive right now but I will pull through. God was with me yesterday. Now I am trying to figure out the gift or lesson learned in this ordeal.

Oh, I'm so sorry. I hope your soreness goes away and you have no other injuries! Get some rest and relax!
Oh man... I know getting hit from behind is very painful, but I certainly wasn't hit at 45mph. I hope you feel better..I'm sorry you had to go through this! Glad you are safe though.

OH NO!!! I'm glad you're okay. ...man car accidents suck!
Last year an old woman made THE SLOWEST LEFT in front of me and I skidded and avoided her but hit a tree with my front wheel ...and she drove away! 6months later I finally got my car back ...the same month the lease was due and I had to turn it in....it sucked so bad...but I was safe. I was really scared to drive after that ...and still am anxious when I see someone waiting to make a left in front of me.
I hope your body and mind and spirit heal today ....and you should take the rest of the week off.
